Adalie is two, too!

For the third Saturday in a row (and another coming up, though with a week in between), we got to celebrate a 2nd birthday with one of the girls' friends. Elise and Avery will grow up alongside so many friends that they will have known since such a young age - how blessed they are!

Anyway, this time it was Adalie's turn. Well, technically, Adalie had the first turn, but who is keeping track? Her Dora the Explorer party was most recent, and it was great fun!

We started off coloring, playing with balloons, and donning adorable Backpacks (made especially for each child). After eating lunch and fueling up for our adventure, it was time to bust out our maps (from Backpack, of course!).

First we made a trip through Star Forest (which Avery adored, and which we went back through a few more times before leaving).

Then, it was time to crawl through a tunnel...

and finally we found some yummy cupcakes! They were delicious, and Elise - thanks to Miss Adalie's sweet spirit and generosity - was offered the very first bite of the whole party. Are you at all surprised that she took Adalie up on the offer? Sadly none of us got it on film, but I hear it was pretty sweet! :)
