Tailgate Sunday

Today after the service, we had a tailgate outreach at 4 Corners. There were hotdogs, nachos (+ chili and cheese), and even an awesome drumline from Fairfield HS! While most of us were in NFL attire (given that it's really the only football still going on), the girls were probably the cutest in their MU gear! (Editor's Note: Avery is not that much shorter than Elise... she just doesn't have her mama's posture! ;))

I got these great boutique outfits from the Twins Club sale last year, and was so excited when Kyle got the girls dressed and picked them out (for real!). They wore super sweet little Miami dresses complete with adorable football buttons...

fancy shoes (that Elise just adored today)...

... and Redhawk bloomers. Fabulous!

Unfortunately, I left the camera in the car during the festivities - and it was entirely too cold (and busy) to get it out. I can pretty much sum it up though, with great accuracy:

Kyle, Jennifer & Troy tried to corral the girls out of the way when the best choice of seating for them was right in the flow of traffic.

Avery was super grumpy. But loves chips. (Which you already know if you've been around her lately).

Elise quickly mastered the art of scooping up a boatload of nacho cheese on a chip, sucking it off, and repeating... until the chip was uber mushy and she had to eat it. Then the process started over.

It was a lot of fun, the turnout was great, the message and music were fantastic.... and the girls were, as always, super freaking cute :)
