Playdate with Malia
The girls and I got to have a long-overdue playdate with our friends Malia and Amy on Wednesday! Kyle used to live with Malia's daddy, Luke, when they were first starting medical school. Luke and Amy got married a week after Kyle and I did, and I ran into them in Babies R Us as they were completing a baby registry before Malia was born, only to find out Amy was due just a couple of months before I was. Since the girls were early, they ended up just a few weeks younger than Malia, and this is only the second time we've gotten to see her! Hopefully there will be more to come without as much time in between! :)

avery, i like your new shoes! and i think your hair is getting longer. at first glance, i thought it was elise in the first picture. can't wait to see you next week. love you lots.
I love that you noticed her shoes! We got 4 new pairs of shoes recently, and they're all too big - but they're all very cute! I was going to take pictures for here, but 3 of the 4 are so big they won't be able to even wear them for a while. They're at such an inbetween size!
