The girls have really taken to crawling up them, which obviously is not acceptable unless we're following closely behind... As we were in the following video, for your enjoyment! ;)
(FYI, and for our memories, Avery CAN do this. She is just stubborn, and on this particular day wanted to get up her own way. Ahh, I can see my future with two headstrong girls.......)

oh my goodness.... so grown up! Better not blink, they'll be off to the prom. time goes by sooo quickly.
the picture at the bottom of the stairs is precious. avery is going to walk very soon if she hasn't already. she seems so confident standing alone. and elise up the stairs with something in each hand...such a determined girl. gosh, i love you guys!!!
They are both getting very good at standing. Elise loves when you "make her", but Avery certainly doesn't! She probably has better control, but only stands when she doesn't realize she's doing it (while she's playing, etc). Hopefully we'll be able to arrange a visit soon!
